Tips for running form: How to run properly.

Running properly can help reduce your risk of injury and make your runs feel less tiring and more enjoyable.

If you are starting to run and you don’t know how to run properly this article is going to help you out.

  • Shoulders: Keep them relaxed and avoid tensing them.
  • Head position: You should keep your straight, avoid pulling your head forward.
  • Feet: low to the ground, using a light touch of the foot. Try not to bounce more than an inch off the ground. Let your feet move the way that is natural for them.
  • Breath: Your ability to run a long period of time is going to be breathing, how much oxygen are you allowing into your lungs. Whether you breathe through your nose or mouth, try to breathe deeply and rhythmically.
